Koffee With Karan 7: As Karan Johar gears up for the seventh season finale of his popular chat show Koffee With Karan, it is KJo’s turn to spill some coffee beans. During the final episode, Karan will be seen talking about Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal’s wedding and how it turned out to be embarrassing for him.
The Kuch Kuch Hota Hai filmmaker said that after their marriage, people used to ask him why he was not invited and as per a report in Hindustan Times, everything is fine between Karan and Katrina-Vicky.
“When Vicky and Katrina were getting married, it got really embarrassing for me. It got to a point where people were like you didn’t tell us about them, you’re in a wedding and still don’t tell us It’s been too embarrassing to admit that I wasn’t invited. Then came sympathy and suspicion after marriage. People were like why weren’t you invited? Is everything okay between you guys?,” Hindustan Times quoted Karan Johar as saying.
However, Karan Johar later said that he got “a little peace” when he learned that Anurag Kashyap was also not invited. “When I came to know that Anurag Kashyap has also not been invited to Vicky-Kat’s wedding, I got some peace,” she added.
Vicky Kaushal was Anurag Kashyap’s assistant director in Gangs of Wasseypur. In addition, he has been a part of several films produced by Anurag Kashyap, such as Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana and Bombay Velvet.
Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal got married on December 9 last year in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. The wedding was attended by his family and close friends, including Kabir Khan and Mini Mathur and Sharvari Wagh.
Meanwhile, the finale episode will feature Tanmay Bhatt, Niharika NM, Kusha Kapila and Danish Sait as the jury members of the Koffee With Karan Awards. The episode will stream on Disney+Hotstar on September 29.
