Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, the leader of right-wing group Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena, was killed by men who had tea with him at his house in Jaipur. A disturbing video of the incident showed the attackers sitting with him before suddenly shooting him, catching Gogamedi off guard. He was shot multiple times at close range, with the final bullet being fired into his head.

The CCTV footage shows Gogamedi looking at his phone when the men sitting across from him stood up and opened fire. One of his guards tried to stop the gunmen, but they fired shots at him as well.

The police stated, “The attackers sat with Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi for at least 10 minutes before shooting him.” The 20-second video shows the men continuing to shoot Gogamedi even after he stopped moving.
The incident occurred around 12:30 pm. Gogamedi and two of his associates were injured and taken to a hospital, where Gogamedi was pronounced dead.
One of the attackers, who is not seen in the video, was killed in a crossfire. The other two fled on a motorcycle belonging to two individuals they had threatened with their pistols, according to the police.
A member of the Goldy Brar gang claimed responsibility for the murder in a Facebook post. He stated that Gogamedi “used to support our enemies,” which led to the attack.
It is important to note that the outfit led by Mr. Gogamedi is different from the Rajput Karni Sena that led protests against the Bollywood movie ‘Padmaavat’. Gogamedi had separated from Karni Sena in 2015 and formed his own group.
