Mirzapur fans have some good news to share. The shoot for the third season of the popular Amazon Prime Video show has been completed, according to Ali Fazal.

He shared a video celebrating the milestone with co-star Shweta Tripathi Sharma and the rest of the cast on Instagram. The team then takes a happy selfie.
A heartwarming note was also attached by Ali Fazal, who plays Guddu Pandit in Mirzapur. To his dearest and most loved team, he wrote, “Thank you so much for your love and hard work. Season 3 has been a very different journey for me, as have the previous two.”
“I say this because I, along with Guddu Pandit, take every ounce from all those who work on those sets to build what you eventually see,” Ali Fazal said, thanking his team.
I’m so grateful for your help, even though you might not realise it. I can’t thank you enough for everything you’ve done. I hope you all get to read this because I don’t have everyone’s tags. Sorry I couldn’t write you a personal letter this time.”
Furthermore, Ali Fazal expressed his gratitude to his co-stars, saying, “You know how much I love you. Thank you, Amazon. And especially my man Guru, for directing the coolest show I’ve ever been a part of.”.
Mirzapur, a crime drama, is produced by actor-director Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s production house Excel Entertainment.
Shweta Tripathi Sharma replied to the post saying, “Sirf aur sirf (only and only) (heart emojis).”
Before the shoot began in May, Alia Fazal had shared a post about getting back into the skin of the beloved role. He said, “And the time begins! Prep, rehearsals, readings. Bring it on…Laathi lakkad nahi, ab neeche se joote aur upar se bandookein fire hongi.
Lagao haath kamaao kantaap! Guddu aarhe hain .. apne aap. (This time, battles will be fought through guns and not sticks. Touch me and you earn yourself a slap. Guddu is coming).”
She also shared a video after wrapping up her shoot for the show a few days ago. The actor, who plays Golu in Mirzapur, wrote, “I couldn’t wait to start shooting as soon as I finished reading the season 3 episodes.”
