Hardik Pandya Hugs Mohammad Rizwan: Hardik Pandya’s all-round performance helped Team India script a victory over Pakistan in their Asia Cup match in Dubai on Sunday. Starting with three wickets, Hardik scored 33 runs in 17 balls to guide India to victory with his winning six.

Apart from his scintillating performance, another thing that won everyone’s heart was when Hardik hugged Pakistan wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan from behind during the game. The picture soon went viral on social media and fans could not stop praising them for the lovely gesture made by the players of both the countries.

The Asia Cup clash between India and Pakistan has been giving cricket fans such heartfelt moments for a long time. Earlier last week, stars like Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Yuzvendra Chahal and Rishabh Pant held talks with Shaheen Shah Afridi, who has been ruled out of the tournament due to injury.

That’s when Shaheen told Virat that he wanted to see him in form again. He also joked with Pant that he wants to hit a six with one hand like him.

All-rounder Hardik Pandya was at his best as he brought up his A-game to help Team India beat Pakistan by five wickets in the Asia Cup Group A clash at the Dubai International Stadium on Sunday. Pandya scored 33 runs in just 17 balls with the help of 4 fours and 1 six in the chase of 148.

India needed 6 runs to win from 4 balls and after this Hardik played a dot ball against Mohammad Nawaz. That’s when Hardik points towards Dinesh Karthik, indicating that he has got it under control. It is important to note that as soon as he signaled, he hit a six off the very next ball.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar came back with figures of 4-26 in his four overs as India bundled out Pakistan for 147. The veteran seamer also got a crucial breakthrough from Pakistan captain Babar Azam in the third over of the innings.

Team India will next face Hong Kong in Group A on Wednesday.
