After about four hours and 14 million votes, 57% of participants have voted yes. In a tweet Sunday, the billionaire owner of Twitter and CEO of Tesla Inc. said he would follow the results of the poll. “VOTE YES” and “CEO of Twitter” were among the top trending topics in the US overnight.

Afterwards, Twitter Safety offered a poll on whether it should have a policy on removing accounts promoting other social media platforms.
