East Delhi Murder: Delhi Police has disclosed the murder in East Delhi’s Pandav Nagar. Anjan Das was allegedly killed by his wife and stepson in June, similar to Shraddha Walker’s murder.

Police said the accused Poonam was in a fit of rage after Das sold his jewelery and sent the money to his first wife. He planned the murder along with Deepak, his son from a previous marriage. Deepak has told Police that he agreed because Das allegedly harassed his wife.
The accused have told the police that they killed Das in June. Police said they first spiked his drink and killed him with a dagger when he was unconscious. They let the body bleed overnight.
The accused told the police that in the morning they cut the body into 10 pieces and put them in polythene bags and kept them in the fridge.
Over the next few days he threw away the pieces. Police have found six pieces so far. It was during these visits that Poonam and Deepak were captured by the CCTV cameras installed in the area.
The accused have told the police that they later cleaned the house and the fridge to remove any foul smell. They also told the neighbors that Das had left the house without informing anyone.
