Iga Swiatek extended her winning streak to 36 matches

Williams is 40 years old and still trying to win her 24th Grand Slam

Serena Williams, who was playing singles for the first time in almost a year, almost had a fairytale return, but Harmony Tan, who was playing her first match at Wimbledon, beat her in a tie-break after three hard sets, 5-7 6-1 6-7. (7-10).

Williams, who is 40 years old and still trying to win her 24th Grand Slam singles title, fought hard to win the second set, but world No. 115 Tan kept her cool in the deciding set tie-break to get the best win of her career so far.
