Man Tries To Kiss King Cobra: A video from Karnataka is going viral on the internet. In the video, a man is trying to kiss a king cobra on his head after saving him. However, the snake was not feeling affection towards the man and turned its head back and bit him on the lip. The incident took place at Bommanakatte in Bhadravati in Shivamogga district.
According to a report in Hindustan Times, this man is a reptile rescuer. The 30-second clip shows a man trying to kiss a snake when it suddenly bites him and the reptile runs away. After sometime others were trying to catch the snake but it ran away.

The person survived the snake bite. The video has surfaced on the internet, where some social media users were upset with the man’s actions, while some started a meme fest. One user wrote, “Survived??? Really? But wonder what prompted him to try this in the first place. Can say he got what he asked for.” Another user wrote, “I think this is the best lip-to-lip ever.” The third user wrote, ‘It comes down to the head.’ Why women live more than men.
The king cobra, one of the most venomous, is also the longest of all such snakes. It is found in the rainforests of Southeast Asia. The maximum length of this variety of cobra is 5.85 meters.
The venom of the king cobra is highly neurotoxic and can cause human death within 15 minutes of its bite. Snakes are also known to bite multiple times in a single blow.
Close proximity or high speed can easily disturb the cobra. When the king cobra raises its body, it can still move forward and attack from a great distance.
