Andre Russell smashes 6IXTY: West Indies all-rounder Andre Russell is known for his power-hitting and he did the same once again in the ongoing 6IXTY tournament. The Trinbago Knight Riders all-rounder hit six consecutive sixes in their match against the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots, scoring 72 runs in just 24 balls on Saturday.

Russell’s scintillating innings had a total of eight sixes and five fours. Dominic Drakes was the first bowler to face Russell’s wrath as he hit the medium pacer for four sixes in the last four balls of the seventh over. He then welcomed spinner John-Russ Jaggesar, who came to bowl with two sixes in the eighth over.

As per the rules of the tournament, the batsmen do not switch sides after the end of an over.
