Pooja Bhatt Joins Rahul Gandhi: Pooja Bhatt walked with Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday during the Bharat Jodo Yatra.
She was seen walking with Mr Gandhi while having a discussion with him, becoming the first noted Bollywood celebrity to join the Yatra. As she walked with Mr. Gandhi at a brisk pace, people cheered.
Actor-director-producer has been vocal about a variety of issues on social media.
In 1989, she made her acting debut in “Daddy”.
As the daughter of Mahesh Bhatt, the actress has performed critically in films such as “Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin”, “Sadak”, “Phir Teri Kahani Yaad Aayee”, “Sir” and “Zakhm”, as well as producing and directing “Tammana”, “Sur”, “Paap” and “Holiday”.
On the 56th day of the yatra, Rahul Gandhi and other Bharat Yatris resumed their walk from MGB Bajaj showroom, Balanagar Main Road, Hyderabad City.
From Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu, the Bharat Jodo Yatra began on September 7.
Last week, Rahul Gandhi began the Telangana leg of the yatra after completing marathon walks in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.
Ten special committees have been formed by the Telangana state Congress to coordinate the yatra.
