Nagelbalken Game: A viral video shows two groups of people competing against each other to hammer a nail into their respective wooden stumps. Nagelbalken is often seen as an event and festival leisure activity, often for children, and as a wedding custom in Germany.
As per the rules of the game, the person who hammers the most nails into the wooden stump within a stipulated time is declared the winner.
There are eight men in each group competing to hammer nails into their respective stumps in the video clip. Each team member gets one chance to hit the nail. Once one person has finished, the other person runs back and takes his turn. The team that successfully hammers the nail completely into the stump is the winner.

As the game has evolved, many variations have emerged. The trick to winning the game, according to one experienced user, is to start off with soft swings to get the nail to penetrate the surface. Once it’s an inch deep (depending on the nail length), you can start monkey swinging at it. Unless you’re a superskilled person. (They aren’t.)”
