Celebrity designer Pratyusha Garimela was found dead under suspicious circumstances at her Banjara Hills residence in Hyderabad, Telangana on Saturday.
Pratyusha, who was the founder of her own label named Pratyusha Garimela, ran a fashion studio in Banjara Hills and had top clients from Tollywood, Bollywood and other fields as well.
Circle Inspector of Banjara Hills has said that she was found lying in the bathroom and her body has been sent to Osmania Hospital for post-mortem. It is suspected that he died by suicide.
Police have recovered a carbon monoxide cylinder from his bedroom. A case has been registered under the provisions relating to suspicious death in Banjara Hills and further investigation will be done.
Last year, Pratyusha told Femina that before starting her fashion career, she studied in the UK for her master’s, after which she joined her father’s business – LED manufacturing company. However, Pratyusha soon realized that she was not selected for the job and that her interests were elsewhere.
