After becoming the world’s richest man, the world’s richest man announced a plan that caused a huge uproar – to charge $8 for joining the elite club of blue tick holders. After Mr Musk bought Twitter, a number of users, particularly celebrities, left. Among them are Grammy-winning singer/songwriter Sara Bareilles, Grammy-winning R&B star Toni Braxton, retired professional wrestler and actor Mick Foley, Academy Award winner Whoopi Goldberg, and model Gigi Hadid. A common complaint was that the platform has become “a cesspool of hate and bigotry.”
Tesla and SpaceX engineers have been hired by Mr Musk to review Twitter’s code. According to a CNBC report, more than 50 Tesla workers, two Boring Company employees, and one Neuralink employee have joined the social media platform.
