Tesla Coming To India Soon…: During his landmark three-day state visit to the US, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Tesla CEO and Twitter owner Elon Musk today. After the meeting, Musk told reporters, “I’m a fan of Modi.”

During a visit to the Tesla Motors factory in California in 2015, the Prime Minister met Musk.
Tesla will be in India as soon as humanly possible, Musk said when asked about a timeline.

Musk was asked by The Wall Street Journal if the automaker was interested in the Indian market. He replied, “Absolutely.”.
During his meeting with Musk, Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted, “Great meeting you today @elonmusk! We discussed a wide range of topics ranging from energy to spirituality.” Musk replied, “It was an honor to meet with you again.”
Musk’s efforts to make technology accessible and affordable in multiple sectors were appreciated by the Prime Minister. Musk was invited to explore investment opportunities in the electric mobility and commercial space sectors in India.
On Tuesday morning, the Prime Minister left for the US for a State Visit, an honor reserved for Washington DC’s closest allies. An address to the US Congress, meetings with business leaders and Indian expats, and a state dinner with US President Joe Biden are highlights of the Prime Minister’s itinerary.
During this historic trip, trade and defence ties are high on the agenda.
