Singer Aaron Carter, 34, Found Dead In Bathtub At California Home

He rose to fame with his hit album “Aaron’s Party (Come Get It)” at the turn of the millennium. His age was 34.

Backstreet Boy Nick Carter’s brother was found dead in his bathtub at his residence in Lancaster, California, according to the entertainment outlet.

According to AFP, police found a body at Carter’s home at 10:58 am, but haven’t been able to identify it publicly.

A request for comment from Carter’s manager was not immediately returned.

His debut album was released in 1997 at the age of nine. He was born December 7, 1987 in Tampa, Florida.

Aaron’s Party (Come Get It) sold three million copies stateside, making him a teen heartthrob. In addition to appearing on “Lizzie McGuire,” he became a regular on preteen Nickelodeon and Disney shows.

His next album, “Oh Aaron,” went platinum after he toured with the boy band The Backstreet Boys — his elder brother is a member.

Carter’s fame faded as he aged, but he continued to appear on reality shows and off-Broadway productions, and he released some new music online.

However, his family troubles and apparent strife among his five siblings became tabloid fodder.

According to Carter, “the main thing in life is not to be afraid of being human” after he entered a treatment facility in 2011.

The artist began doing one-off shows after leaving rehab, and then toured Canada. In 2018, he released another album.

In 2013, he filed for bankruptcy over millions in debt, primarily tax debt. Aside from possession charges and reckless driving charges, Carter also had several run-ins with the law.

He began discussing publicly in 2017 his arrests and skinny appearance that fueled rumors of illness and drug use.

As a result of prescription drug abuse aimed at anxiety and sleep issues, he was admitted to another treatment center in 2018, reporting improvement.

He told the Daily Mail earlier this year that he wanted to stop being seen as a “train wreck.”

He told the outlet, “I am not what some people portray me to be.”. “I have been a train that has been derailed and wrecked multiple times.”
