IndiNews has learned that gangster Goldy Brar, accused of killing Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala in May, has been detained in the US. As a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, Goldy Brar recently moved to the US from Canada.

The gangster was detained in California around November 20, the sources said, adding that the Indian government has not yet received any official statement from the state.
In a Facebook post, Brar claimed responsibility for Moose Wala’s murder. In addition to Fresno, he had safe houses in Sacramento, Frizow, and Salt Lake.
Goldy Brar’s arrest in California has caused a big stir in California, according to India’s spy agency Research And Analysis Wing (R&AW), the intelligence wing of Delhi Police, and their counterparts in Punjab.
According to Sidhu Moose Wala’s father, the government should announce a reward of ₹ 2 crores for any information on Goldy Brar.
At an event in Amritsar, Balkaur Singh said he was even willing to pay the reward out of his own pocket if the government could not.
Originally from Sri Muktsar Sahib in Punjab, Goldy Brar went to Canada on a student visa in 2017. According to police, he was also a key conspirator in the murder of a Dera Sacha Sauda follower last month.
A day after the Punjab government cut down his security cover, Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, 28, was shot dead in his SUV near his village in Punjab’s Mansa district on May 29.
In a Facebook post, Goldy Brar claimed responsibility for the murder, saying it was revenge for the murder of youth Akali leader Vicky Middukhera last year.
