Shraddhas’ Body Parts Found: In connection with the grisly murder of 26-year-old Shraddha Walkar, the CBI’s forensics team visited Mehrauli police station today to examine the fridge and other evidence. So far, the police investigation has revealed horrifying details.

It is alleged that Aftab threw Shraddha’s body parts into a forest area today. At least 10 body parts were found during the three-hour search.
Vikas Walkar, the victim’s father, demanded the death penalty on Tuesday for 28-year-old Aftab Ameen Poonawala.
While both were working in Mumbai, Aftab and Shraddha met through the dating app Bumble. According to the police, they may ask the dating app whether he brought more women home while he had Shraddha’s body parts in the apartment and whether they were a trigger for her murder.
Due to Shraddha’s insistence on marriage, the couple fought frequently. On May 18, Aftab “sat on Shraddha’s chest and strangled her”, sources said. According to the police, he used “sulphur hypochlorite” to clean up the blood after chopping up Shraddha Walkar’s body.
According to sources, Aftab slept in the same room where the victim’s body was chopped. After getting rid of the body parts, he cleaned the fridge in which he kept her face.
Aftab was also taken to the shop where he claimed to have bought the tools for cutting up Shraddha’s body. The CCTV footage from that day is no longer available, though Aftab claimed he bought the knife and garbage bags from the shop.
Despite allegedly murdering his live-in partner five months earlier, Aftab continued to visit his house with other women. According to them, the couple used to stay aloof and didn’t mingle with anyone. Even as recently as October, they claim to have seen several women visiting him.
After the murder, Aftab brought another woman to his apartment, the police said. While Shraddha’s body was still in the apartment, he brought her home frequently.
Police are investigating whether renting the flat in Delhi’s Chhatarpur area days before Shraddha’s murder was part of a conspiracy to kill her.
When Aftab Ameen Poonawala murdered Shraddha Walkar on May 18, he bought a 300-liter fridge the next day for her body, got a weapon that same day, and chopped her body into 35 pieces and scattered them in a forest every day at 2 am for 18 days.
