Shraddha Walkar Murder: Sources say Delhi police have prepared a 3,000-page draft chargesheet against Aaftab Poonawala, who is accused of killing his live-in partner Shraddha Walkar and cutting her body up.

Sources say the draft document contains testimony from more than 100 witnesses and is based on crucial electronic and forensic evidence that cops gathered during their months-long investigation.
Aaftab’s confessions, narco test results, and forensic test reports are also cited in the draft chargesheet. Legal experts are reviewing it right now.
Aaftab Poonawala is accused of killing Shraddha Walkar last year at their rented flat in Mehrauli after an argument. Her body was chopped up into 35 pieces, which he kept in a 300-litre fridge.
Later, he dumped the body parts in Mehrauli forest.
Sources say the saw and blade used to chop up the body were tossed in the bushes in Gurugram, and the meat cleaver was thrown in a dustbin in south Delhi.
A DNA test confirmed last month that Shraddha’s bones were found in the urban forest by Aaftab Poonawala.
Around October, her father went to the police in their hometown in Maharashtra about the crime.
Vikas Walkar didn’t talk to her because he was upset about her interfaith relationship with Aaftab Poonawala. After meeting on a dating app, the couple lived together in Vasai near Mumbai for a few months before moving to Delhi in May.
He’s been in judicial custody since November last year. Sources say Aaftab told a Delhi court he killed Shraddha Walkar “in the heat of the moment”.
