Vande Bharat Hits Bull: In Gujarat, the Vande Bharat Express hit a bull this morning, the third such incident in a month.
A collision caused the nose cone cover of the driver coach to be damaged, causing the semi-high-speed train to be halted for around 15 minutes.
Earlier this month, the newly launched train hit a cow near Anand station in Gujarat, a day after hitting four buffaloes.
Atul railway station was the site of the latest collision at 8.17 am.
Such collisions with cattle are unavoidable, according to Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.
Last month, Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the train, the third in the Vande Bharat series, from Gandhinagar to Kalupur railway station in Ahmedabad.
According to the railways, the train reaches 160 km per hour in just over two minutes and offers better ride comfort than other trains.
