Narendra Modi’s security was breached today during his roadshow in Karnataka by a man who jumped onto the road suddenly and got within arm’s reach.

He broke the security cordon and rushed at the Prime Minister — who was riding on the footboard of an SUV — apparently to congratulate him.

The Prime Minister’s Special Protection Group intercepted him at the last minute.

PM Modi took the garland from him and put it on his car’s bonnet.
