The Mumbai Police, which is probing the case, had said that the threat letter was a publicity stunt by Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang.

According to officials, the threat was made at the behest of Vikram Barad, an aide of Bishnoi, who is currently based in Canada.

The report said that the police were informed about the threat mentioned in the letter. The police is also examining the CCTV footage installed in the area.
