An online clip allegedly featuring a Punjabi couple selling kulhad pizza sparked a controversy after it surfaced on the Internet. Sehaj Arora, the owner of the food cart, filed a police complaint over the footage.

In a Jalandhar street, Sehaj Arora and his wife are famous for serving pizza in earthen cups, called kulhads. Video of the couple preparing the pizza was widely shared on social media, along with their stories about how they met and fell in love.
Recently, a video has been circulating on social media purporting to show the proprietors of “Kulhad Pizza” in a compromising position. Mr Arora clarified the video on Wednesday by calling it “fake”.
In an Instagram video, Mr Arora, standing outside a police station in Jalandhar, claimed someone sent them a “fake” video and demanded money. The video was shared online after they refused to pay the money.
In addition, he said he filed an official complaint with the police. As he pointed out, the video was completely fake and may have been generated by artificial intelligence. Additionally, he asked people not to share the video.
During a video message released on Friday, Sehaj Arora described what he and his wife went through following the controversy.
Asked whether the video is fake or not, Mr. Arora said he would talk about the current situation and what they are facing.
Police arrested the woman who blackmailed them over the viral clip, according to Sehaj Arora.
A YouTuber named Karan Dutta was also accused of spreading the fake video and his family was affected by it.
In several YouTube videos, Karan Dutta disputed Sehaj Arora’s claims and denied any wrongdoing.
