The attack by the former Congress president came on a day when party leaders and workers held a “peaceful satyagraha” in all assembly constituencies demanding the withdrawal of the new army recruitment scheme.
In a tweet in Hindi, Gandhi said, “The prime minister is making ‘daulatveer’ (rich) by handing over the country’s airports to his friends for 50 years, while making the youth ‘agniveers’ on a four-year contract.”
