PAK vs ENG FINAL: The weather is expected to remain wet in the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 final to be held in Melbourne on Sunday. Thankfully, a backup date is available in case the match is canceled, with Monday serving as a backup.
But sadly, the weather forecast for Monday is also not much better, with 95% rain and 5-10 mm predicted. Keeping all these facts in mind, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has changed the original provision of extra playing time on reserve day.
The ICC’s Event Technical Committee (ETC) has increased the provision of additional playing time on reserve days from the original provision of two hours to four hours (Clause 13.7.3 of the Playing Conditions), if more time is required to complete it is required. Match and get the result.
PAK vs ENG FINAL: Specific playing conditions
At least 10 overs must be bowled by the team batting second in the final, provided the result is not achieved first and there is a reserve day (Monday 14 November at 3:00 PM AEDT) play must not have been completed Sunday.
Every effort will be made to complete the match on Sunday, with any required shortfall of overs and only if the minimum number of overs required to make up the match on Sunday is not bowled.
If the match is to conclude on Monday, the match will resume at the same place where the last ball was played.
30 minutes of extra time is available for Sunday’s matches, while an additional four hours of extra time is available for Monday’s matches.
At the end of the match a Super Over would be played if the scores were tied and if the weather interfered and the Super Over could not be completed, Pakistan and England would be declared joint winners.
