As two families clashed over a plot of land in Rajasthan’s Bharatpur, a man was allegedly brutally crushed to death by his brother with a tractor. It has been reported that Damodar drove the tractor on his brother Nirpat eight times until he died, according to the police.
There was a long-running dispute between the families of Bahadur Singh and Atar Singh over a piece of land in Bharatpur. A tractor pulled by Bahadur Singh’s family reached the disputed plot this morning. It took a while for Athar Singh’s family to arrive.
As soon as the two families clashed, sticks and stones were thrown at each other. There were reports of gunshots being heard in the village.
Nirpat Singh, one of Atar Singh’s sons, was run over by his brother eight times with the tractor during the clash, police said. Damodar allegedly killed his brother despite the intervention of other family members.
Hospitals are treating nearly ten injured people from the clashes. There has been a case filed against four people, and they have been detained for questioning by the police.
Two weeks ago, the two families clashed, resulting in injuries to Bahadur Singh and Janak. Including Atar Singh’s son Nirpat, the family filed a lawsuit against him and his family.
A grisly incident in Rajasthan has prompted the BJP to attack the ruling Congress. Sambit Patra of the BJP attacked Priyanka Gandhi Vadra in a sharply worded statement, saying, “Priyanka Gandhi Vadra must project that she has the courage and spine to visit Bharatpur, where this gruesome incident and murder took place just a few months ago, and the video that has gone viral has been heartbreaking.
