Delhi police say a 26-year-old woman was grievously injured when her father-in-law hit her with a brick because she wanted to work on Tuesday.

Social media went crazy over the video.
She was attacked by her father-in-law on Tuesday while going for a job interview because she wanted to work to support Praveen Kumar, officials said.
Kajal’s father-in-law approaches her with a brick in Delhi’s Prem Nagar as she walks in a lane.
When she tries to leave, he repeatedly hits her with the brick.
In the video, Kajal tries to escape, but the man chases her with a brick.
Praveen rushed her to Sanjay Gandhi Hospital where she got 17 stitches.
According to officials, Kajal’s parents, who live in Faridabad, have filed a complaint against her father-in-law.
The case is being investigated, they said.
