Nothing phone (1) will soon be available for pre-order
The Nothing phone (1) will come out on July 12 of next month. Even though there aren’t many details about the phone, new information about the London-based startup’s first smartphone keeps showing up on the web.
The Nothing phone (1) will soon be available for pre-order on the Indian e-commerce site Flipkart, according to a new leak from tipster Mukul Sharma (@stufflistings). The tweet says that people can pre-order the phone for Rs 2,000, which will be taken off the total price of the phone when it is bought after July 12.
Mukul Sharma tweeted
“[Exclusive] #NothingPhone1 pre-booking details.
Buyers will be able to pre-book the device by paying 2K.
Coupon money will be adjusted during checkout (on the keynote date, July 12 itself).
Plus, “variant of your choice” confirms multiple memory variants.
Feel free to retweet”
Nothing phone (1) will be available soon after its July 12
The tweet also says that the Nothing phone (1) will be available soon after its July 12 release date. The pre-booking offer, which hasn’t gone live yet, looks like it will be available until July 18. This suggests that sales may start after July 18.
We also know that the Nothing phone (1) will come with different amounts of memory, but it’s still not clear if it will come in any other colors than the white that Nothing recently showed.
Nothing’s first smartphone will be a high-end midrange model
Leaks suggest that Nothing’s first smartphone will be a high-end midrange model that could be powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset. The device is also expected to have a 6.55-inch HD+ OLED screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a 4,500mAh/5,000mAh battery that can be charged both through a wired connection and wirelessly.
The phone’s design has shown that it might not have a 3.5mm headphone port or an alert slider. However, we do know that the phone will have flat, metal sides and two cameras on the back. The Nothing phone (1) should also come with NothingOS, which is based on Android 12.
