Nithari killings case: Between 2005 and 2006, Moninder Singh Pandher’s home in Noida’s Nithari area was the scene of serial killings.

Surinder Koli, the prime accused in the infamous Nithari killings, was acquitted today by the Allahabad High Court in 12 cases in which he had been sentenced to death.

As a co-accused in the case, Moninder Singh’s Pandher has also been acquitted in two cases.

As a result of the big high court verdict, the death sentences of both Koli and Pandher have been canceled.

Between 2005 and 2006, Moninder Singh Pandher’s house in Nithari, Uttar Pradesh’s Noida, was the scene of serial killings. Pandher’s housekeeper Surinder Koli worked for him.

Indians were horrified by the conviction of Surinder Koli for rape and murder at the home of his employer.

A neighbour found a body part of a missing child in a drain near Pandher’s home, which led to the investigation. As the police investigated, they found several more children who had been brutally murdered.

17 Years After Chilling Murders, Nithari Accused Acquitted In All Cases

PTI reported Monday that the Allahabad High Court cleared Surinder Koli of 12 charges in the Nithari killing case. As well as acquitting him, the court set aside death sentences in two cases involving his employer Moninder Singh Pandher.

The matter was heard by Justices Ashwani Kumar Mishra and Syed Aftab Hussain Rizvi. As a result of a lack of evidence, the pair was acquitted of both rape and murder charges.

In 2006, 17 years ago, the Noida police discovered human remains in a drain behind the accused’s house.

A police search of the drain outside the couple’s house in Nithari revealed skeletons and other belongings of missing girls on December 29, 2006. The bodies of several girls were allegedly chopped up, thrown outside their house, and then disposed of by Koli.
