Even the jam couldn’t dampen the tourists’ spirits. In the middle of the jam-packed roads, people were dancing.
“We left at 7 am for Atal Tunnel, but it’s been three hours since we left Manali,” said Parveen, a Haryana tourist.
There have also been reports of traffic jams in other parts of the country as celebrations for the new year start. In Maharashtra, there was a huge jam from Navi Mumbai to Raigad.
