The main suspect in the rape case of a 15-year-old girl has been detained in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. The traumatizing event was caught on CCTV as the victim asked for assistance while knocking on doors. He attempted to flee, but a police unit apprehended him.

The police reported that the patient is stable following surgery, but they have not yet recorded a statement from her because of her incoherence. She is unable to identify her origins, her parents, or any other family members, a police officer claimed.
After the incident, the young girl was left half-naked, and CCTV footage shows a guy shooing her away. At an ashram, where a priest offered her his clothes and dialed the police, she eventually received assistance. She was taken to the hospital in a hurry after the police arrived twenty minutes later.
