Mithilesh Chaturvedi dies: Actor Mithilesh Chaturvedi, who starred in several films like Koi Mil Gaya and Satya, passed away at Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai. His son-in-law Ashish Chaturvedi confirmed the news by sharing a post on Facebook on Thursday morning.

Ashish released a series of photographs of the late actor. He wrote in Hindi, “You were the best father in the world, you gave me dhamaad nahi balki ek son ki tara love. May your soul rest in peace (You were the best father in the world. You showered love on me, not son-in-law) Like but like a son. May your soul rest in peace?”
Veteran theater actor Anil Rastogi, who worked with Mithilesh in several plays at Darpan Theater Group in Lucknow, also confirmed his death. “He was admitted there for the last few days after suffering a heart attack,” Anil told Hindustan Times. Filmmaker Hansal Mehta shared the news on his Instagram Stories. He dropped a picture of Mithilesh and wrote, “RIP Mithileshji.”
Mithilesh acted in several films including Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, Ashoka, Ready, Mohalla Assi and Krish. He was also a part of web series including Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story.
He started his career with the film Bhai Bhai in 1997. He was also seen in Taal (1999), Fiza (2000), Aks (2001), Kisna: The Warrior Poet and Bunty Aur Babli (2005). He was also a part of the television series Qayamat and Sindoor Tere Naam Ka.
Fans also expressed condolences. A social media user tweeted, “Eminent theater and film actor #MithileshChaturvedi passed away following a heart ailment. May his departed soul rest in peace?” “Sad news, in peace sir,” wrote another.
Mithilesh was also a part of YouTuber Bhuvan Bam’s Disney Hotstar series Latest News. Directed by Himank Gaur, Latest Khabar is currently under production. The show also stars Shriya Pilgaonkar, JD Chakraborty, Deven Bhojani, Prathamesh Parab, Nitya Mathur and Shilpa Shukla.
After learning about the death, netizens expressed their heartfelt condolences.
