India Will Be Back Home Next Week: After Thursday’s result in the T20 World Cup 2022, Pakistan is fuming. After losing to minnow Zimbabwe in Group 2, Babar Azam & Co. are all but eliminated from semi-final contention.

The two strongest contenders for Pakistan’s group are India and South Africa. Akhtar expressed disappointment at the performance of Pakistan in Australia, but he also predicted that the Indian team would exit the tournament next week in the semi-finals.
“That’s really disappointing. I said earlier that Pakistan will go home this week. India will also go home after the semi-final since they aren’t that good,” Akhtar said in a YouTube video.
According to him, “Maine pehle bhi kaha hai ki Pakistan iss haftah Pakistan waapas aa jayegi, aur agle hafte India bhi waapas aa jayegi semi-final khel ke.
Vo bhi koi utne tees maar khan nahi hain (I had said earlier that Pakistan would return home this week, while India would return after playing the semi-final next week.).”
Taking responsibility for the team’s performance in Australia, Akhtar blamed everyone, from skipper Babar Azam to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). Even the board was blamed for selecting ‘unworthy players’, according to him.
“Your performances are average.
Enjoy, and keep selecting unworthy players. Don’t let in good people. I’m not talking about myself. The job can go to hell. I’m worried that the country suffers. Don’t bring cut-for-role people, who are disciplined and know how things work. You’ve ruined everything,” Akhtar fumed.
As a result, Pakistan’s chances of reaching the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup 2022 are seriously doubtful. Pakistan are ranked 5th in Group 2 and have yet to win a game. On the other hand, India has won both of its first two games.
