Imran Khan shot at Gujranwala: Several local news channels reported that chaotic scenes spread to the east of the country on Thursday after shots were fired near former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan’s convoy.
Farooq Habib, a senior member of Khan’s party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), said the former PM was also injured in the incident. He tweeted, “The cowards have shown that Imran Khan is injured, may Allah protect him, the whole nation should pray for Imran Khan’s life.”
According to Geo TV, the shots were fired at Imran Khan’s reception camp at Allahwala Chowk in Gujranwala. The former Pakistan Prime Minister is leading an anti-government long march towards Islamabad.
