Ever since Swedish home furnishing brand IKEA opened its first store in the IT capital’s Nagasandra area, residents of Bengaluru haven’t been able to calm down. The store has received an overwhelming response from citizens, resulting in long, long queues.

Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Wednesday inaugurated IKEA’s Nagasandra store. Spread over 4.6 lakh square feet, the store is the largest IKEA outlet in the country and is located close to the Nagasandra station of the Bangalore Namma Metro.
