Sonali Phogat Death: Sonali Phogat contested the 2019 Haryana election as a BJP candidate from Adampur by defeating then Congress leader Kuldeep Bishnoi.
BJP leader Sonali Phogat died of a heart attack in Goa on Monday night. She was 42 years old.
She had gone to Goa with some of her employees. He complained of uneasiness and was taken to the hospital.
Haryana Chief Minister ML Khattar expressed grief in a Twitter post. He wrote, “Deeply saddened to learn about the passing away of Sonali Phogat.”

The actor-politician posted pictures and videos on Instagram shortly before his death.
Sonali Phogat contested the 2019 Haryana elections from Adampur as a BJP candidate. She lost to Kuldeep Bishnoi, who was the Congress candidate.
Mr Bishnoi joined the BJP and resigned as an MLA last month.
Mr Bishnoi had met Sonali Phogat last week, amid speculation that she would be the BJP’s candidate from Adampur in the bypoll.
Sonali Phogat rose to fame with her TikTok videos and had a huge following on the video-sharing app.
She started as a TV anchor in 2006 before joining the BJP two years later.
She made her acting debut in 2016 with the TV show ‘Amma: Ek Maa Jo Lakhon Ke Liye Amma’. She was also a part of the web series ‘The Story of Badmaashgarh’ in 2019.
He also participated in the 2020 edition of the reality show Bigg Boss.
He made headlines in the same year for publicly thrashing an officer in Hisar, Haryana. In a video that has gone viral on social media, Sonali Phogat is seen hitting the man with her shoes.
They have a daughter Yashodhara Phogat. Her husband Sanjay Phogat died at their farmhouse in 2016 at the age of 42.

Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar expressed grief and said that he was deeply saddened to learn about the passing away of Sonali Phogat.
