After Raju Theth was shot dead at his residence in Rajasthan’s Sikar on Saturday, police are investigating who could have committed the murder. In protest against the gang war, his supporters have also called for a bandh on Sunday. The latest developments are listed below.

On Saturday, five people suspected of being members of a rival gang opened fire in Rajasthan’s Sikar, killing two people and injuring one.

A few miscreants opened fire at Theth’s house on Piprali Road in Sikar at around 9.30 a.m., reports say. Four suspects from Haryana have been arrested – Himanshu, Satish, Jatin, and Naveen alias Boxer.

Police are investigating the murder of the gangster after he was shot down, although Rohit Godara has claimed responsibility for the murder. On Sunday, Raju Theth’s supporters also called a bandh in Lakshamgarh, a town in Sikar district.

On Saturday, gangster Raju Theth was shot dead at his home in Rajasthan’s Sikar district by four people from Haryana. All four accused are Haryana residents–Himanshu, Satish, Jatin and Naveen alias Boxer. The Director General of Police of Rajasthan, Shri Umesh Mishra, said four of the five suspects involved in Raju Theth’s murder have been identified and have been arrested in Bhiwani, Haryana.

According to reports, Tarachand Kadwasara, who was meeting his daughter in the area, was also killed in the incident. His daughter Konita was preparing for the National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) examination for the last two years at her coaching center.

A history-sheeter associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, Rohit Godara, claimed responsibility for Raju Theth’s murder. Azerbaijani gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldie Brar are currently controlled by Rohit Godara. In India, he is a wanted criminal.

As a result of the death of gangster Raju Theth outside his residence on Saturday, the BJP has canceled the Jan Akrosh Yatra in Rajasthan’s Sikar. The state unit of the BJP has decided to hold a meeting at its headquarters.

Aajtak-India Today obtained a letter written by Raju Theth to the SOG, IG Jaipur range, requesting security. According to Raju Theth’s lawyer, he had clearly indicated he knew some people were conspiring to kill him. No action had been taken despite repeated efforts made through formal and informal media.

Lakshamgarh town of Sikar district has declared a bandh on Sunday to protest the alleged gang war and demand the arrest of Raju Theth’s killers.

In the area where the incident occurred, there are several hostels and coaching centers. According to sources, gangster Raju Theth also ran a hostel there.
