NTR’s Daughter Found Dead: Uma Maheshwari, daughter of Telugu Desam Party founder and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister NT Rama Rao, was found dead at her home in Hyderabad’s Jubilee hills, police said. The woman appears to have died by suicide. But no suicide note has been found, Hyderabad Police Commissioner CV Anand said.
Police said that a case has been registered and further investigation is on.
Uma Maheshwari was the youngest of NT Rama Rao’s 12 children. Former Union minister and BJP leader Daggubati Purandeswari and Nara Bhuvneshwari, wife of TDP president and former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu, are his sisters.
Police said Chandrababu Naidu, his son Nara Lokesh and other family members are at Uma Maheshwari’s house.
Uma Maheshwari lives with her husband, who is currently away. His younger daughter, who lives in Hyderabad, had come to meet him along with her husband on Sunday.
