Food Delivery Man and Guard In Big Fight: After a fight over entry into a residential complex today, a food delivery person and a security guard were arrested by the police. A hearing will be held for both before the Executive Magistrate, police said.
Security guard Ram Vinay Sharma and food delivery person Sabi Singh of Zomato come to blows at the main entrance to Gardenia Society in Sector 46.
The delivery person started by altercating verbally with the security guard about entry into the housing complex, and then punched, kicked, and pushed the guard. In response, the guard retaliated.
There were people present at the scene who tried to stop them, but they were intent on hitting each other with sticks and bare hands.
Despite the onlookers’ efforts, the food delivery person lies on the ground moments later.
Two security guards at a Noida residential complex have been attacked in as many days. At Noida’s Ajnara Society, a woman heckled a security guard. Video of a woman grabbing the guard, flinging off his cap, has gone viral.
Sutapa Das, a woman professor at Noida’s Cleo County in Sector 121, was seen exiting her car and slapping the society’s security guard thrice across the face last month.
After being rescued from a building’s lift, a man attacked his apartment’s security guard and another person, triggering another ‘slapgate’ incident in Gurgaon the month before.
In the same month, a woman was arrested in Noida for obscene gestures and language toward a security guard. Assault occurred when the guard on duty took too long to open the gates of the housing society.
