Code Name Tiranga Teaser: Parineeti Chopra has released the teaser of her upcoming film Code Name Tiranga. Directed by Ribhu Dasgupta, this espionage action thriller also stars Punjabi singer-turned-actor Hardy Sandhu. All we can say is that Parineeti looks promising in a never seen before look. He is fearless and is ready to go to any extent for his country.
With tons of action and fight sequences taking place in multiple locations across the world, the teaser will keep you glued to the screen till the very end. Code-named Tiranga features Parineeti as a Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) agent who, according to the synopsis, “is on a steadfast and fearless mission for her nation in a race against time, where sacrifice is her only choice”. The teaser also gives us a glimpse of the characters of Sharad Kelkar, Shishir Sharma, Rajit Kapoor and Dibyendu Bhattacharya in the film.
Sharing the teaser on Instagram, Parineeti Chopra wrote, “Honored to be a part of this mission for my country. Excited to collaborate with two of my favourites. Hardy Sandhu and Ribhu Dasgupta. Let the action begin. Give the code name Tricolor.

This teaser comes days after the first look poster of the code name Tiranga was released on social media. “Nation. Love. Sacrifice. Code name Tiranga… Excited to work with my favorite Punjabi boy Hardy Sandhu on this,” Parineeti Chopra captioned the post.
Code Name Tiranga is co-produced by Bhushan Kumar, Reliance Entertainment, Film Hanger and Vivek B Agarwal. It will open in theaters on October 14.
Director Ribhu Dasgupta is back in business with Parineeti Chopra. The teaser of his upcoming film, Code Name: Tiranga was unveiled by T-Series on Thursday. The two previously collaborated on the poorly received Netflix film The Girl on the Train.
Code Name: The Tricolor also marks a return to the detective genre for Ribhu Dasgupta, who directed the first season of Netflix’s spy series Bard of Blood, which appears to have been quietly abandoned by the streamer. The show was the first title produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment in a first-look deal with Netflix.
Code Name: Tiranga stars singer-actor Hardy Sandhu, who made his Bollywood debut with last year’s massive sports drama 83, in which he starred alongside former cricketer Madan Lal (Pyaar Se Madi Pa by Ranveer Singh’s Kapil Dev in the film).
Code Name: Tricolor is described as ‘the story of a spy on an unswerving and fearless mission for his nation in a race against time’ where sacrifice is his only choice. It appears that the film is yet another attempt to jump on the patriotic tune, which has been being loved so much in Bollywood lately.
Based on the 45-second teaser, it looks like an all-out action role for Parineeti, who hasn’t really dabbled in the genre before. We catch glimpses of him engaging in a series of hand-to-hand combat sequences, and later, a gunman too. Hardy appears to be playing some sort of local contact in Afghanistan with whom he develops a relationship.
Parineeti had three releases last year – The Girl on the Train, director Dibakar Banerjee’s delayed Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, and Saina Nehwal’s biopic Saina. She will next be seen in Sooraj Barjatya’s Uchchaan, which will star Amitabh Bachchan.
