This morning, Sonali Phogat’s nephew Mohinder Phogat told the Press Trust of India that the family has consented for the autopsy with the condition that the entire process be videographed.

Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Wednesday said that the state police is conducting a detailed investigation into the death of Sonali Phogat.

Sawant said that looking at the opinion of doctors and Goa Director General of Police (DGP) Jaspal Singh, it appears that he died of a heart attack.
