Bihar Floor Test LIVE Updates: The CBI today raided the premises of several RJD leaders in Bihar in connection with the alleged employment-for-land scam that took place during Lalu Prasad’s tenure as Union Railway Minister.

The search operation comes at a time when Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, who had snapped ties with the BJP to forge an alliance with the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), is facing strength in the state assembly.

The assembly session began with the resignation of BJP MLA Speaker Vijay Kumar Sinha from his post. A no-confidence motion was brought against him soon after the “Mahagathbandhan” or Grand Alliance came to power.
