On Sunday, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal attacked the Centre over its ordinance on control of services in the national capital, saying that the state is the first to be “attacked” and that similar ordinances will be brought for other states as well.

The Aam Aadmi Party’s national convener said the Center’s ordinance was an insult to the people at the Ramlila Maidan during the party’s “Maha Rally.” According to him, there will be no democracy in Delhi if the ordinance is passed.
Arvind Kejriwal said that in Delhi a dictatorship exists, and that the LG (lieutenant governor) is supreme. The people have the right to vote for whomever they want, but the Centre will run the city, he added.
Having traveled across the country, he assured the people of Delhi that they are not alone. The 140 crore people of India are with them.
