On Sunday, Jeremy Renner was airlifted after his Snowcat plow’s safety feature failed and sent it rolling over his legs. He lost a lot of blood after the machine accidentally ran over one of his legs when he was clearing a path out of his Lake Tahoe home.

Eyewitnesses told the outlet Mr Renner was plowing the road about a quarter mile from his house so his family could get out after a massive New Year’s storm. His leg was accidentally run over by the plowing machine, called a Snowcat.
TMZ says the area was treated like a crime scene after the freak accident. The ‘Avengers’ star’s neighbour, who’s a doctor, put a tourniquet on his leg until paramedics arrived to fly him to the hospital. According to the media outlet, his injuries are “extensive” as other parts of his body have also been injured.
Mr Renner’s spokesperson previously said the actor was in “critical but stable” condition. “His family is with him, and he’s getting excellent care,” the spokesperson said.
Renner has a house near Mount Rose-Ski Tahoe. As Lake Tahoe got a lot of snow last month, the actor shared several updates on social media. “Nearly done with sledding hill for kids,” he wrote on an Instagram story last week. While sharing an image of a snow-covered vehicle on Twitter, he wrote, “Lake Tahoe snowfall is no joke.”
He played Hawkeye, a member of Marvel’s Avengers team, in several movies and TV shows. In ‘The Hurt Locker’ and ‘The Town’, Renner has also been nominated twice for an Oscar.
Currently, he’s in ‘Mayor of Kingstown’ on Paramount+. Taylor Sheridan and Hugh Dillon created the show, which is produced by 101 Studios, Bosque Ranch Productions, MTV Entertainment Studios, and Paramount Network. Later this month, the show’s second season will premiere.
