Actor Jeremy Renner is in a “critical but stable condition” after he injured himself plowing snow in Reno, Nevada, over the weekend. The ‘Hawkeye’ actor was injured on Sunday and is receiving “excellent care”, according to entertainment website Deadline.

After the accident, he was airlifted to the hospital, the outlet said. In Marvel’s ‘Avengers’ and ‘Captain America’ films, Renner is a two-time Oscar nominee. The Reno Gazette Journal says he’s lived in Washoe County, Nevada for several years.

In Washoe and other counties, where his home is located, heavy snow on New Year’s Eve knocked out power to more than 35,000 homes, the Reno Gazette Journal reported.

Renner was nominated for Best Actor at the 2010 Academy Awards for ‘The Hurt Locker’. In ‘The Town’, he was also nominated for Best Supporting Actor.

Currently, Mr Renner is in ‘Mayor of Kingstown’ on Paramount+. This month is the premiere of its second season.

Taylor Sheridan and Hugh Dillon created the show, which is produced by 101 Studios, Bosque Ranch Productions, MTV Entertainment Studios, and Paramount Network.

Renner has also starred in ‘Mission: Impossible’, ‘Arrival’, ‘American Hustle’ and ’28 Weeks Later’ as well as Marvel movies.

According to Variety, he fractured his right elbow and left wrist while filming Tag.
