Trainer Aircraft Crashes In Maharashtra: A single-seater trainer aircraft crashed in Maharashtra’s Pune district on Monday and injured woman trainee pilot Bhavika Rathod.

The incident took place in Kadbanwadi area of ​​Indapur tehsil after a technical snag in the small aircraft.

The plane crashed into an open ground at around 11:30 am, and the pilot suffered minor injuries and was later hospitalised. A police officer said the plane was damaged after the crash.

The Union Civil Aviation Minister, Jyotiraditya Scindia, said the incident is unfortunate and he is “praying for the recovery of the injured pilot, Ms Bhavika Rathod.”

He said the Directorate General of Civil Aviation has started an investigation to find out the cause of the incident.
